To completely peel and remove a hydrophobic image from material to be recorded and to improve fixing performance without causing elongation, wrinkle, waviness or curl on material to be recorded by constituting the accelerating liquid of plural liquid dispersion media which are not dissolved each other.
The image removal accelerator composed of the dispersion media of two kinds of liquid, for example, hydrophilic solution and hydrophobic solution, which are not dissolved each other is used. The image removable accelerator in a dispersed state is imparted to the material to be recorded having the hydrophobic image formed of thermally flexible or thermosoftening image forming substance, and the hydrophobic image is brought into contact with a peeling member under heating and pressuring conditions so that the hydrophobic image may be transferred to the peeling member, whereby the hydrophobic image is completely peeled and removed and then the material to be recorded having no elongation, wrinkle, waviness or curl is regenerated. In the case of recycling the regenerated material to be recorded for image forming such as copying or recording, the hydrophobic image excellent in fixing performance is formed without causing jamming in a copying device or a recorder.
