Abstract:

To constitute an entire slide show by inserting a visual effect suitable for a joint of contents and effectively connecting a plurality of contents.

A plurality of stored image contents are arranged in accordance with a predetermined reproduction order, an effect corresponding to attribute information that each of the image contents has, is inserted and the image contents are continuously reproduced out. When selecting an effect for the plurality of image contents, a differential for each attribute information that each of the image contents has is taken, attribute information with a feature appearing in the obtained differential is extracted, the relevant attribute information is referenced in a corresponding relationship, and the effect to be applied to the plurality of image contents is selected.
