To make a film loading carriage usable, and to prevent the exposure of a film from increasing owing to the backward emission of reflected light into a drum, by providing a axially extending elastic baffle, which prevents radiation impinging on another part of the film by reflection on the film.
Baffles 14, etc., are suspended from the carriage 4 and include left and right baffles 14A and 14B, which are put axially at an interval. The baffles 14A and 14B are arranged around a reflector 10 at an interval without impeding a beam 11 from reaching the film 2, and extends in plane to substantially bisect the exposure angle of the write beam 11. The beam 11 is so adjusted as to impinge on the film 2 not at right angles and its reflected light all travels to one of the baffles 14A and 14B. The baffles 14A and 14B are formed of an elastic material such as polyester and the surfaces are colored in black so as to absorb any incident light. Then, the beam is enabled to pass through the film loading carriage.
