Title:
IMAGE SENSOR DRIVING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6116670
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce leak currents from other elements and to improve the S/N ratio of an output signal by grouping common-side selecting elements and providing an individual-side selecting element for each group.

CONSTITUTION: Photoelectric converting elements PD1∼PD1792 are divided into seven groups of 256 elements and every 32 elements are connected to one common-side selecting element. Then, 56 common-side selecting elements are divided into seven groups of eight elements, i.e. C1-1∼C1-8, C2-1∼C2-8...C7-1∼C7-8. Each photoelectric converting element is connected to an individual-side selecting element in series through a diode for prevention against detouring. Thus, the number of photoelectric converting elements connected to the same individual-side selecting element decreases from conventional 54∼8, so that the influence of leak currents from other elements upon the outut signals of the photoelectric converting elements is reduced.
