PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, although imaging apparatuses that can set different imaging conditions for each area of a screen are known, characteristics of such an imaging apparatus cannot be utilized.SOLUTION: The imaging device which has a plurality of pixels arranged on a surface and picks up an image of a subject, includes: a first pixel region for generating a first image signal by imaging for a first exposure time among the plurality of pixels; and a second area for generating a second image signal which is imaged for a second exposure time longer than the first exposure time among the plurality of pixels and extracting information on the subject.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
