Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the number of externally attached parts and to obtain a cost down by forming an image signal generating means and a temperature detecting means on the same chip. CONSTITUTION:A temperature detecting part 19 is provided on the chip of an image sensor 12 having a photoelectric converting part 15 to generate an image signal. In this case, signals outputted from the chip to an external part are the two types of an image output signal and a temperature detecting signal, however, by a time division they can be removed from the same output terminal pin. The detecting part 19 is composed of the serially connecting of two resistances to have mutually different temperature coefficients. Accordingly, since the electric potential of the connecting midpoint of the two resistances is induced to the change of an environmental temperature and changed, the both edges voltage of the respective resistances is changed and the both edges voltage of the one side resistance is outputted as the temperature detecting signal. Thus, since the temperature detecting signal is obtained on the chip of the image sensor, the number of externally attached parts is reduced and a cost down can be obtained.
