Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shake correction device and a shake correction method capable of preventing angular field misalignment and performing a shake correction even if a camera is installed at a tripod or the like.SOLUTION: An image shake correction device includes: shake detection means detecting a shake; shake correction means that can be driven in a predetermined direction relative to an optical axis of an optical system so as to change relative positions of a subject image and the optical axis of the optical system forming the subject image; determination means determining whether a change in an output signal from the shake detection means satisfies a predetermined condition; and control means generating a drive signal for driving the shake correction means from the output signal from the shake detection means in accordance with a result of determination of the determination means, and controlling the shake correction means according to the generated drive signal, the control means switchably outputting a signal of a first frequency component contained in the output signal or an addition signal obtained by adding up the signal of the first frequency component and a signal of a second frequency component different from the signal of the first frequency component in accordance with the result of the determination of the determination means, and generating the drive signal on the basis of the output signal.
