Abstract:
To avoid occurrence of moire or to shorten a processing time as needed in an image signal generating method and apparatus for generating an image signal by reading a storage type phosphor sheet recorded with radiographic images including a grid image.
Any one of first image reading processing not to apply suppressing processing to suppress a return distortion component caused by a spatial frequency component of the grid image and second image reading processing to apply the suppressing processing is selected based upon a photographing menu, and selected image reading processing is applied upon the radiographic images.
