Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain resolution even if a camera is quickly moved in executing panoramic photographing.
SOLUTION: A picture is radiated on CCD 13 through an optical axis variable element 11 controlled by a driver 21 and a lens system 12 controlled by a lens system driving circuit 22. In CCD 13, image data converted into an electric signal is supplied to a compression circuit 14. Compressed image data compressed in the compression circuit 14 is supplied to a recording medium 15. In a mixing circuit 23, output from a movement detection circuit 24 is mixed with movement information from an angular acceleration sensor 25 and it is supplied to the recording medium 15 and the driver 21. The recording medium 15 records compressed picture data and a mixed result from the mixing circuit 23. The angular acceleration of the camera is detected from the angular acceleration sensor 25 and the optical axis of the camera is controlled in an opposite direction.
