Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal transmitter that adopts a transmission system suitable for the resolution of an image signal to be transmitted and for the length of a cable so as to transmit the image signal.
SOLUTION: An image transmission side device is provided with a single to biphase conversion circuit to separate parallel image data to be transmitted into even numbered data and odd numbered data, a 1st parallel to series conversion circuit, a 2nd parallel to series conversion circuit, and a changeover means that gives parallel image data to be transmitted to the 1st parallel to series conversion circuit when an operating mode control signal sent from an image receiver side device designates a 1st operating mode or gives the parallel image data to be transmitted to the single phase to biphase conversion circuit when the operating mode control signal sent from the image receiver side device designates a 2nd operating mode.
