PURPOSE: To obtain an image transfer sheet ensuring the transfer of an image part to a transfer medium while suppressing the transfer of a non-image part of a thermally adhesive layer and realizing an image of a good feel.
CONSTITUTION: An image transfer sheet consists of a support layer and a thermally adhesive layer releasable from the support layer. The thermally adhesive layer contains a polymer having a melting point of 60-130°C, a melting viscosity of 5×104 poise or more at 110°C, and a melting viscosity of 9×103 poise or less at 130°C. The support layer is the order of 50μm or more in thickness. The thermally adhesive layer is the order of 70μm or less in thickness. The total thickness of the sheet is the order of 60-200μm. As the support layer, paper, synthetic paper, or the like is used. The polymer forming the thermally adhesive layer is a thermoplastic polyurethane, a polyamide, a polyester, a modified polyolefin, or the like.
