Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remarkably shorten the reject correction time by executing a correction of a reject character by using a corrected character entry sheet in which a corrected character corresponding to the reject character is entered. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is set to a FAX transmitting equipment 11, and a character which is entered into the sheet is transmitted to a receiving side as an image data. When format information is received, an OCR 16 executes a character recognition processing. Subsequently, a result of the recognition by the OCR 16 is transferred to a FAX control unit 12 through a communication line 19. In case when a reject character exists, only a corrected character corresponding to the reject character is entered in a corrected character entry sheet and transferred. Accordingly, it becomes unnecessary for a transmitting person to execute a retransmission many times and the reject correction time can be shortened remarkably.
