Abstract:
To provide an image transmission system and method immune to a burst error and to provide a transmitter and a receiver used for it.
A fixed length coder 3 codes image data. A data transmission section 4 transmits coded image data for a plurality of number of transmission times. A fixed length decoder 6 decodes the image data transmitted for a plurality of times respectively. A received data selection circuit 8 selects image data without an error or a least error among decoded image data.
