PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image work method for suppressing the deterioration of the restoration accuracy of identification information by a work processing, such as the affine transformation of parallel movement and rotation and partial cutting on image information where piece of identification information are composited as electronic watermarks and improving the strength of watermark information without damaging the appearance of picture information, and to provide an image work device, a recording medium and a transmission medium.
SOLUTION: Pieces of watermark information on the basis of identification information are composited in the frequency area of image information by using two-dimensional discrete Fourier transformation. Thus, resistance against parallel movement is improved. Pieces of watermark information on the basis of identification information of rotary symmetry are composited. Thus, resistance against rotation is improved. Then, pieces of watermark information, on the basis of plural pieces of identification information moved in parallel, are composited into one piece of image information. Thus, the strength of watermark information can be improved, without damaging the appearance of image information. Original image information is divided into plural areas and pieces of watermark information are composited in the respective areas. Thus, resistance against cutting is enhanced.
