Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a flicker in the brightness of an image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes: an imaging device 10 which photoelectrically converts a subject image imaged by an imaging optical system 1; an imaging control unit 17 for controlling an iris value of an iris 2 which controls an incident ray volume into the imaging device 10, a photoelectric conversion storage time, and the sensitivity of the photoelectric conversion, respectively; a display control unit 17 for successively displaying on a display device 13 images which are based on photoelectric conversion signals from the imaging device 10; and an information acquisition unit 16 for acquiring information which indicates an actual iris value during the change of the iris value. The imaging control unit 17, when changing the iris value to a target iris value, increases and decreases the sensitivity or the storage time, according to a difference between the target iris value and the actual iris value.
