Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an imaging control method, and a program, capable of avoiding loss of temporal continuity in an interval photography and deleting a record of a failed image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes: an imaging section 11; an acceleration sensor 17; and a CPU 21. The CPU 21 controls the imaging section 11 so that the imaging section acquires a plurality of images for each periodic timing. The acceleration sensor 17 detects a motion of the imaging apparatus 1 before and after the imaging section 11 photographing the plurality of images according to control of the CPU 21. On the basis of the motion of the imaging apparatus 1 detected by the acceleration sensor 17, the CPU 21 selects an image photographed in a periodic timing which is desired to be recorded among the plurality of images.
