Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in detection accuracy when detecting an object from a captured image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes a detection part 4c which executes processing for detecting a detection object from a live view image L captured by an imaging part 3, a discrimination part 4d which discriminates whether or not the detection object is detected by the detection part 4c, and imaging control part 4 which changes the imaging state of the imaging part 3 into a first state, while the processing for detecting the detection object is executed by the detection part 4c and changes the imaging state into a second state different from the first state, when it is discriminated that the detection object is detected by the discrimination part 4d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
