Abstract:
To provide a technique for removing a dynamic body not required in panoramic image, by setting a region for use in synthesis, while considering the position of the dynamic body in a captured image, when the dynamic body exists in panoramic imaging.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus has detection means for detecting a dynamic body from multiple images continuous temporally, control means for setting a first region and a second region for the multiple images, respectively, and performing storage and deletion to storage means for an image of these first region and the second region, and generation means for generating a panoramic image by using an image in the first region when the dynamic body is not detected in the first region in the multiple images, respectively, otherwise using an image, out of the images in the second region clipped from an image captured before the image from which the image in the first region was clipped, having a field angle overlapping the first region and where the dynamic body is not detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
