Abstract:
To provide a technique of supporting recognition of an image region which has a possibility of being not included in a panoramic image by a user, during photographing of an image to be a source of the panoramic image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: photographing means of sequentially photographing a plurality of images while moving a photographing direction; image processing means of performing image processing including at least one of distortion correction processing and cylindrical coordinate transformation processing for each of the plurality of images; acquisition means of acquiring a partial image not including a predetermined region of the image for each of the plurality of images to which the image processing is executed; generation means of generating a panoramic image by performing image composition that overlaps overlapping regions of each pair of the two partial images in which a photographing order is continued for a plurality of the partial images acquired by the acquisition means; display means of performing live view display during the sequential photographing, the display means displaying information indicating at least a part of the predetermined region of the next photographing image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
