Abstract:
To improve accuracy of reading a recognition object which is binarized and used.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: imaging means which generates an image by imaging a one-dimensional code or a two-dimensional code, the imaging means being an image pickup device 102 which controls an exposure time for each pixel or each pixel group; acquisition means which acquires exposure information including the exposure time of the image; and control means 105 which performs control so that an exposure time for each pixel of each pixel group of the imaging means corresponding to a pixel or an area with a luminance of a predetermined value or more in the image may be longer than the exposure time included in the exposure information acquired by the acquisition means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
