Title:
IMAGING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014222899
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of enlarging a dynamic range of imaging.SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus, gain setting means 6 is capable of setting at least two different gains, and different gains are set to amplification means 5 which amplifies and outputs pixel signals of a plurality of colors read out of a pixel array 1 by pixel reading means 2, for each of rows or columns of a specific term of the pixel array 1 in such a manner that the pixel signals of all the plurality of colors are amplified with the at least two different gains, respectively, by the amplification means 5. The pixel reading means 2 reads out the pixel signals by performing pixel thinning on the pixel array 1 in a specific term in a direction of rows or columns.
