Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus which allows for appropriate camera control for an effective video area, by determining a vignetting area from a video reflecting a lens hood.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus including a lens mount detachable of a lens unit has one or more programs of a video viewer for displaying video data captured by the imaging apparatus, in a client. The imaging apparatus comprises: acquisition means for acquiring lens information stored in the lens unit; selection means for selecting a program of the video viewer according to the lens information; and transmission means for transmitting, to the client, the program of the video viewer selected by the selection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
