Abstract:
To effectively reduce an effect of flicker on an image regardless of a situation or a setting when a subject is captured.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes an imaging element, a shutter, flicker detecting means that detects timing of a feature point of a change in the amount of light of the flicker, shutter adjusting means that adjusts running start timing of an electronic shutter and the shutter on the basis of the timing of the feature point, and control means that controls the drive of the imaging element and the shutter, and the shutter adjusting means adjusts first shutter running start timing when the electronic shutter is operated as a front curtain and second shutter running start timing when the shutter is operated as a front curtain on the basis of the adjustment value that adjusts the exposure variation set for each individual shutter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
