Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus capable of displaying a satisfactory live-view image even during continuous luminescence imaging of the imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 is capable of strobe imaging with an imaging sensor 103 in a state where a first light-emitting member 302 is illuminating, and the imaging apparatus has a control unit 105 acquires image for dimming accompanying pre-light of the first light-emitting member 103 using the imaging sensor 103 apart from periodically acquiring an image for display using the imaging sensor 103. The control unit 105 is configured to control the first light-emitting member 302 to perform a pre-flash at the timing when the imaging sensor 103 is not accumulating charges for periodic acquisition of the image for display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
