Abstract:
To reduce noise generated by charging operation of flash power supply when flash emission is used for still image photography.
By making it possible in the control method of an imaging device to switch intensity of noise reduction processing during moving video image photography according to the charging state of the flash power supply, noise generated by charging operation of flash power supply in relation to still image photography using flash in its moving video image photographic function and in still image photography. Then, the noise generated at a moving video image can be restricted by photographing the still image with high image quality.
