Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly form an image in which a background subject is blurred in a degree close to user's intention.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 200 includes index generation means 10 for generating a blur index expressing a degree of blur in an output image of a second subject located in a predetermined second subject distance different from a first subject distance by using information concerned with a focal distance of an imaging optical system in imaging, information concerned with F number and information concerned with the first subject distance to be a subject distance of a first subject in which the imaging optical system is focused in imaging. The imaging apparatus further includes input means 14 capable of inputting a target blur degree by a user and control means 10 for controlling the imaging optical system so that the blur index is included within a predetermined range of the target blur degree.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
