Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an exposure control method and a program capable of optimum exposure control when correcting distortion aberration of a captured image.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an imaging unit; and a control unit which divides a captured image obtained by imaging by the imaging unit into a plurality of image regions, weights brightness of a predetermined pixel in each image region, and controls exposure of the imaging unit on the basis of the weighted brightness of the predetermined pixel in each image region. The control unit executes weight correction processing by increasing weight to the brightness of the predetermined pixel in each image region when an area of each image region after correction processing for correcting distortion aberration in the captured image is larger than an area of each image region before correction processing, or by decreasing weight to the brightness of the predetermined pixel in each image region when the area of each image region after correction processing is smaller than the area of each image region before correction processing.
