Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which dispersion in exposure period is suppressed, and a focal plane shutter.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: the focal plane shutter including a substrate having an opening, a front curtain and a rear curtain running to open and close the opening, a front curtain actuator and a rear curtain actuator making the front curtain and the rear curtain run respectively, a front curtain sensor detecting the passage through a first position of the front curtain, and a rear curtain sensor detecting the passage through a second position of the rear curtain, an imaging element on which light is made incident through the opening; and a driving control part correcting electric power supplied to the rear curtain actuator, while the rear curtain runs.
