Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus converting and outputting image data acquired by imaging in a manner to virtually fit to a lens characteristic and an image sensor characteristic of another imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A system control unit 50 in a compact digital camera 100, one example of the imaging apparatus, acquires emulation information which is conversion information to virtually acquire image data obtained at imaging by a digital video camera for business use, another example of the imaging apparatus (S301). Based on the acquired emulation information, the system control unit 50 performs setting of an imaging condition, imaging and conversion processing on the image data acquired by the imaging (S302).
