Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of properly correcting the shades and shadows of an image obtained by photography using an auxiliary light source by a simple method and to provide a method for controlling the imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A parameter used for correction processing for adding the effect of a virtual light source to the image photographed by making the auxiliary light source emit light and the light emission amount of the auxiliary light source for photographing the image to which the correction processing is applied are decided on the basis of the degrees of the shades and shadows of a main subject photographed by making the auxiliary light source emit the light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
