Abstract:
To expand the dynamic range of a signal, when the size of a pixel made fine, while avoiding pressuring against the dynamic range of an A/D converter.
Charges to be the signal of a range between a surplus signal and a storage signal in each pixel are excluded, and the surplus signal and the storage signal are respectively subjected to A/D conversion. Thus, the dynamic range of the A/D converter can be prevented from being pressed, and in addition, the dynamic range of a signal in image data generated, without making the size of the pixel large can be expanded.
