To provide an imaging apparatus, an imaging method, and an information appliance by which when a user uses different types of imaging apparatus and information appliance, the user can receive instruction from an instructor to operate the appliance easily.
A camera 10a for receiving operation information from an instructor camera 10b for shooting includes: an external communication part 9b for receiving operation information for performing operation from the camera 10b; operation switches 1a to 1c, and 1z corresponding to the operation information; a database 9d for storing the operation part image data corresponding to the operation switch; and a display panel 8 for reading out the operation part image data corresponding to the operation switch for the operation information received by the external communication part 9b, from the database 9d to display the image data. The display part can be operated in accordance with the image displayed in the display panel 8.
