To provide an imaging apparatus, imaging method, and imaging program capable of performing excellent white balance correction without a color shift.
An imaging apparatus performs white balance control based on white balance correction coefficients, including: an imaging element for converting light which is made incident from an optical system into an electric signal and outputting it as an imaging signal; block division means 101 for dividing an image area corresponding to the imaging element into multiple blocks; RGB integration means 102 for calculating for each block, R integration values, G integration values, and B integration values which are respectively the integration values of R values, G values, and B values based on the imaging signal; effective block determination means 103 for setting upper limit values and lower limit values with respect to each one of the R integration values, G integration values, and B integration values, and determining blocks within the upper limit values and lower limit values as effective blocks; and white balance correction coefficient calculation means 105 for calculating the white balance correction coefficients based on the R integration values, G integration values, and B integration values of the effective blocks.
