Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus capable of enhancing recognition accuracy of information stamped on a surface of a matter such as a tire from which contrast cannot be easily obtained.
The imaging apparatus includes: cameras L1, R2 for imaging a tire; a projector 3 for projecting texture to the tire; a three-dimensional processing part 21 for performing three-dimensional image processing of an image of the tire to which the texture is projected and which is imaged by the cameras L1, R2; a binarization processing part 22 for binarizing the three-dimensional image obtained by the three-dimensional processing part 21; and an OCR processing part 23 for recognizing characters from the image binarized by the binarization processing part 22.
