Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus performing both image-plane phase difference AF shooting and main image capturing and also achieving high-accuracy phase difference detection.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes: an optical lens 110; a plurality of light receiving units each converting light having passed through the optical lens 110 into a signal; microlenses 12 each placed for every two or more of the adjacent light receiving units; a signal generating unit configured to read the signal from each of the light receiving units, and generate a full-addition signal by adding all of the photoelectric conversion signals converted in a predetermined frame by the two or more light receiving units, an addition signal by adding the signals obtained by at least two light receiving units of the two or more light receiving units, and non-addition independent signals; and a phase difference detecting unit 130 configured to detect a phase difference generated between the two or more light receiving units on the basis of the addition signal and the non-addition signals, and detect a focal point on the basis of the phase difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
