Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch enabling optical detection of an operation quantity with a simple constitution and suppression of cost increase in an imaging apparatus.
SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus having this switch receiving operation from a user is equipped with a switch body 1, a rotating shaft 3, an operation shaft 2, a light transmitting member 4, a light emitting element 5, a light receiving element 6, and a moving quantity calculation means. The light transmitting member 4 is constituted by laminating a plurality of light transmitting plates s1-s17 having each different transmittance of light, and rotated along the thickness direction by rotation of the rotating shaft 3. Intensity of transmitted light is changed by rotation of the light transmitting member 4 in conjunction with rotation of the operation shaft 2. The moving quantity calculation means calculates a rotation angle corresponding to the intensity of transmitted light on reference to a table.
