Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform, from an external apparatus through a network, setting of control of inserting/extracting an infrared ray cutoff filter into/from an optical path of an imaging optical system.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: an optical filter drive circuit 24 for inserting/extracting an optical filter 4 into/from an optical path of an imaging optical system 2; and a CPU 26 for determining which brightness value in brightness of a subject in an adjustment command where the brightness value can be described and where a plurality of brightness values can be described in each of the cases of inserting the optical filter 4 into the optical path and extracting the optical filter 4 from the optical path, is to be used.
