The imaging apparatus is provided with a plurality of signal processing means, and a variable sampling means is provided to a pre-stage of at least one signal processing means among the plurality of signal processing means. The plurality of signal processing means produce a plurality of images having the different frame rates, field angles or number of pixels from the signal read from the single imaging element at the same time.
