Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus with which a plurality of images of different fields of view can be photographed easily.
This digital camera is provided with a single CCD image sensor. Two images PA, PB (for example, an image PA (GI) that corresponds to the whole area of the CCD image sensor, and an image PB (LB) that corresponds to the part of the area of the CCD image sensor) are alternately read out from the different areas of the CCD image sensor, and are stored to generate moving image data. The two images may be extracted from an image read out at a time from the CCD image sensor.
