The present invention relates to an imaging apparatus comprising: a first imaging section for capturing first video data; a second imaging section for capturing second video data; a first range finding section and a second range finding section for measuring distances of a plurality of objects; a first recognizing section and a second recognizing section for recognizing a position of a target object which is closest among the plurality of objects; a first adjusting section for adjusting the first video data; a second adjusting section for adjusting the second video data; and a display section including a display screen on which a stereoscopic video image is displayed from the first video data and the second video data. By adjusting at least one of the first video data and the second video data, a congestion point at which an optical axis of the first imaging section and an optical axis of the second imaging section cross is matched to the target object.
