Abstract:
To reduce flickering stripes in a captured image.
An imaging apparatus comprises: two imaging means 110a and 110b of a sequentially reading system of line exposure; control means 120 for controlling operation of each of the imaging means 110a and 110b; and image processing means 130 for processing an image captured by each of the imaging means 110a and 110b. The control means 120 controls the operation of each of the imaging means 110a and 110b so as to capture the image with deviated timing according to imaging instruction operation by a user. The image processing means 130 composes a first image captured by the imaging means 110a and a second image captured with timing different from that of the first image by the imaging means 110b.
