An imaging apparatus 1 comprises: plural imaging systems 2; a parallax calculation unit 3 which calculates a parallax between plural images captured by the imaging systems 2; a determination unit 4 which determines a relation of brightness degrees and a positional relation between subjects in the plural images; an exposure control unit 5 capable of controlling the imaging systems 2 to be different in exposure on the basis of the result of the determination by the determination unit 4; and an image composition unit 6 which composes the images on the basis of the parallax calculated by the parallax calculation unit 3 and the exposure set by the exposure control unit 5.
