On the basis of the rotary movement speed of a flying disc 1 which is detected by a speed sensor 4, an imaging direction of an imaging sensor 3 is discriminated by an imaging direction discrimination part. Then, in the case that the imaging direction discriminated by the imaging direction discrimination part is a prescribed direction, by the control of an image acquisition part, images for recording are acquired by the imaging sensor 3 provided in the flying disc 1 flying while rotating. Thus, since the object is imaged from the sky, the installation of the transmission source to the object and transmission source direction search means and imaging direction drive part, etc., in an imaging apparatus are not needed. As a result, the configuration of the imaging apparatus loaded on the flying disc 1 for imaging the object from the sky is simplified.
