To provide an imaging apparatus acquiring image data whose imaging apparatus moving amount upon photographing is less and which a user satisfies.

The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element 102 which performs continuous imaging; movement detecting sections (acceleration sensor 112 and gyro sensor 113) detecting movement of the digital camera 1 during exposure at every photographing in continuous photographing; an image memory 108 storing image data of continuous photographing, which is taken in from the imaging element 102; an image evaluating section 106 calculating a camera moving amount based on data on the movement of the digital camera 1, which is detected by the movement detecting section, and giving an order from the small camera moving amount on a plurality of pieces of image data which are continuously photographed; an image display section 114 displaying a part of a plurality of image data which are ranked or the whole data with the respective orders and/or the camera moving amount and displaying arbitrary image data so that it can be selected from them; and a memory card 118 storing the image data selected in the image display section 114 with the camera moving amount.
