Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus that comprises an imaging sensor having a pixel arrangement capable of effective alteration of AF accuracy.
An imaging apparatus comprises an imaging sensor 101 in which imaging pixels R, G, and B and focus detection pixels S1 and S2 are arranged. The imaging sensor 101 comprises: a fist line in which N (N is an integer greater than or equal to 2) pieces of the focus detection pixels S1 and S2 are arranged; and a second line in which M (M is a natural number less than N) pieces of the focus detection pixels S1 and S2 are arranged. The first line and the second line are arranged periodically.
