Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform measures for reduction in surrounding light amount without deterioration of image quality due to electrical image data amplification.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus detects photographing instructions by a photographer (S201), thereby obtaining zoom position information on a lens barrel portion (S202). The imaging apparatus performs AF processing (S203), and performs AE processing for determining an exposure condition to each pixel for optimum luminance in an imaging region in consideration of reduction in light amount around the lens barrel portion (S204, S205, S206). In the AE processing, exposure time is determined for each pixel so as to longer expose to the pixel at a position around an imaging device than the pixel at a center position thereof. Next, under the exposure condition determined by the AE processing, photographing is performed while controlling the exposure time for each pixel (S207), and the photographed image data is recorded (S208).
