Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of performing continuous shooting at a constant frame speed.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus performs continuous shooting of images at a prescribed frame speed. The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging device that takes images of a subject to generate an image data; a mechanical shutter that controls the exposure to the imaging device; a detection section that detects frame speed of the continuous shooting; and a control section that controls reading operation of the image data and the mechanical shutter. When the difference between the frame speed and the frame speed of the continuous shooting exceeds a predetermined range, the control section adjusts the frame speed of the continuous shooting to perform the continuous shooting at the prescribed frame speed.
