Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly review an exposure control value for recording after photography is instructed.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes: an imaging part 10 which picks up a subject image through an imaging optical system 1; a focus adjustment control part 17 which detects a focus adjustment state of the imaging optical system 1 and gives an instruction to drive the imaging optical system 1 to a focus position; exposure arithmetic parts 14, 15 which calculate an exposure control value for photography and an exposure control value for focus adjustment on the basis of subject luminance before focus adjustment by the focus adjustment control part 17; a control part 19 which controls the focus adjustment control part 17 so as to make focus adjustment by applying the exposure control value for focus adjustment, and also controls the imaging part 10 so as to acquire an image by applying the exposure control value for photography; and a determination part 19 which determines whether to re-calculate the exposure control value for photography according to a photography instruction. When the determination part 19 determines the re-calculation, the control part 19 makes the imaging part 10 acquire an image by applying the exposure control value for photography that the exposure arithmetic parts 14, 15 calculate after the focus adjustment.
