Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of displaying an image of a depth of field identical to a still image to that of a live view image while allowing a user to specify a desired depth of field as well as to specify a focus area and a blur area.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an optical system which includes at least one lens; an imaging element that generates a first image data by focusing a subject image focused by the optical system; and an image processing section that generates a second image data by calculating a subject distance relevant to a subject image and performing an image processing on the first image data. The image processing section performs the image processing by setting a depth of the field on the basis the calculated subject distance and applying the depth of field.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
