Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of acquiring an imaging image in which the inside of a vehicle can be smoothly checked even in the daytime.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 comprises: an imaging element 40; a lens 10 for forming light from a target area on the imaging element 40; and a liquid crystal shutter 30 disposed on the target area side with respect to the imaging element 40. The liquid crystal shutter 30 includes an incident side polarization plate 301 and an emission side polarization plate. After a light component in a polarization direction vertical to the vertical direction of a device body 101 transmits through the lens 10, a polarization axis 301a of the incident side polarization plate 301 is set so as to be cut off by the incident side polarization plate 301.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
